1-5 Fire initially started today at 3:54 p.m. in Shasta County, California.

Since its discovery two hours ago, it has burned two acres of federal land managed by the United States Forest Service, an increase of two acres since the last update. At this time, there is no information on the containment of the fire and the cause of it has yet to be determined.
