Chain Fire initially started 1:48 p.m. Aug. 26 in Fresno County, California and it is a part of HIGH SIERRA LIGHTNING COMPLEX fire.

It has been burning on federal land managed by the United States Forest Service for three days. There is currently no information on the containment of the fire and its cause remains undetermined.
