It was do or die for the Austin Bruins against the Minot Minotauros.
They pulled through with a 3-1 win on Friday, April 24, 2025. Austin is now back in the series, which Minot leads by 2-1 games.
The Minotauros started off strong and took the lead early in the game with Billy Batten scoring in the first period, assisted by Jack O’hanisain and Jesse Juhola.
EJ Paddington scored early in the second period, assisted by Luc Malkhassian and Alex Laurenza.
Six minutes into the period, John Hirschfeld scored a goal, assisted by Augustus Elbert and Evan Malkhassian, making the score 2-1.
Evan Malkhassian then tallied a goal midway through, making the score 3-1. Augustus Elbert and Nathan Williams assisted. With that, Malkhassian completed the Austin Bruins’ comeback.
