Muskegon Lumberjacks win against Chicago Steel – despite deficit

Ahead of the final period on Saturday, April 11, 2025, at Fox Valley Ice Arena, the Chicago Steel led 2-1.

However, the Muskegon Lumberjacks changed things in their favor and won. The game ended 4-2.

The Steel took the lead late in the first period, with a goal from Aidan Dyer. Jackson Crowder and Ben Yurchuk assisted.

Tynan Lawrence scored early in the second period.

Late, Chris Reiniger scored a goal, assisted by Luke Goukler and Cameron Briere, making the score 2-1.

Ivan Ryabkin tied it up 2-2 with a goal early in the third period, assisted by Tynan Lawrence and David Deputy.

David Deputy also took the lead with a goal one minute later, assisted by Ivan Ryabkin and Luka Radivojevic.

The Lumberjacks increased the lead to 4-2 with 01.11 remaining of the third after a goal from Xavier Veilleux.
