Varkonyi’s two goals net Sioux Falls Stampede victory over Fargo Force

The Sioux Falls Stampede bested the Fargo Force at Denny Sanford Premier Center on Saturday, April 11, 2025, ending 5-2.

The team took the lead in the middle of the first period, with a goal from Ilya Kolmakov. Cullen Mccrate and Cole Bumgarner assisted.

The Stampede tied the score 1-1 within the first minute of the second period when Reid Varkonyi beat the goalie, assisted by Filip Nordberg and Bryce Ingles.

The Stampede made it 2-1 late when Javon Moore netted one, assisted by Austin Baker and Bryce Ingles.

The Stampede increased the lead to 3-1 within the first minute of the third period when Ethan Wyttenbach found the back of the net, assisted by Reid Varkonyi.

The Stampede increased the lead to 4-1 early in the third when Ben Wilmott scored, assisted by Javon Moore.

Alexei Zhukov narrowed the gap to 4-2 with a goal nine minutes later, assisted by Tucker Lyndaker and Ilya Kolmakov.

Reid Varkonyi increased the lead to 5-2 with a goal less than a minute later, assisted by Ethan Wyttenbach and Filip Nordberg.
