The Waterloo Black Hawks picked up a decisive win against the Omaha Lancers on Saturday, April 11, 2025 at Young Arena.
The game ended in a shutout, 5-0.
The Black Hawks opened strong, early in the game with Samuel Huck scoring in the first period, goal assisted by Hunter Ramos and Teddy Mallgrave.
The Black Hawks’ Brendan Mcmorrow made it 2-0 in the middle of the first period, assisted by Reid Morich.
The Black Hawks increased the lead to 3-0 with a goal from Caden Harvey late in the first, assisted by Reid Morich and Kaeden Hawkins.
Kaeden Hawkins made it 4-0 with a goal late in the third period, assisted by Dylan Compton and Grady Deering.
In the end the 5-0 goal came from Reid Morich who increased the Black Hawks’ lead, assisted by Teddy Townsend and Nicholas Kosiba, late in the third. The 5-0 goal was the last one of the game.
The Black Hawks were called for three penalties, while the Lancers received five penalties.
