The Fargo Force are now in a strong position.
When the team met the Sioux Falls Stampede on Friday, April 10, 2025 at Scheels Arena, they secured their third win in a row. The team won 6-3, seemingly bringing their hard times to an end.
The Force took the lead in the middle of the first period, with a goal from Matthew Lansing. Matt Lahey and Merril Steenari assisted.
The Force’s Sam Laurila increased the lead to 2-0 halfway through the first, assisted by Matthew Lansing and Mason West.
The Force’s Cullen Mccrate made it 3-0 late in the first, assisted by Merril Steenari and Mason West.
Three goals were scored in the second period, and the Force led 4-2 going in to the third period.
The Stampede narrowed the gap again early in the third period when Anthony Bongo found the back of the net, assisted by Joe Belisle and Jake Merens.
Merril Steenari made it 5-3 with a goal two minutes later, assisted by Matthew Lansing and Mason West.
Cameron Aucoin also increased the lead to 6-3 with a goal one minute later, assisted by Brooks Cullen.
