The Youngstown Phantoms assured themselves a first-place finish in the USHL with a 6-1 win at Covelli Centre against Team USA on Saturday, April 11, 2025.

The Phantoms opened strong, right after the puck drop with Peter Cisar scoring 42 seconds, goal assisted by Coleson Hanrahan and Landan Resendes.

The Team USA tied the score 1-1 in the first period when JP Hurlbert scored.

The second period ended with a 4-1 lead for the Phantoms.

Ryan Rucinski increased the lead to 5-1 with a goal early in the third period, assisted by Evan Jardine and Adam Benák.

Luke Osburn also made it 6-1 with a goal seven minutes later, assisted by Kade Stengrim and Landan Resendes.
