The Wisconsin Windigo won at Big Dipper Ice Arena on Friday, March 27, 2025, handing the Fairbanks Ice Dogs a defeat 6-3.
The team took the lead in the middle of the first period, with a goal from Theodore Richardson. Harper Frey and Alexios Georgaklis assisted.
Five goals were scored in the second period, and the Windigo led 4-2 going in to the third period.
Hunter Hayes made it 5-2 with a goal early in the third period, assisted by Harper Frey and Braydon Beahm.
Cam Vansickle narrowed the gap to 5-3 with a goal seven minutes later, assisted by Kaycee Coyle and Luc Plante.
The Windigo increased the lead to 6-3 with 01.04 remaining of the third after a goal from Luke Baker, assisted by Harper Frey.
