A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred near Pante Makasar on Tuesday night, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor, which hit the region at 14:14 UTC (22:14 local time), was centered approximately 58 km northwest of Pante Makasar. It occurred at a depth of 158 km.
