A 5.2 magnitude quake occurred near East Pacific Rise on Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which shook the area at 10:38 UTC (02:38 local time), was centered south of East Pacific Rise. It occurred at a depth of 10 km. Seismologists first reported it as a 5.1 event, but later upgraded it to 5.2.
