A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred close to Pagar Alam on Saturday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor rattled at 10:59 UTC (17:59 local time), with its epicenter roughly 70 km southwest of Pagar Alam and a depth of 69 km.
