Aug. 14: Earthquake measuring 5.0 hits region close to Ruteng, Indonesia

A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred near Ruteng on Friday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

A tremor jolted the area at 22:27 UTC (06:27 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was about 54 km north-northeast of Ruteng and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
