5.1 magnitude earthquake strikes near Puerto Madero, Mexico on July 18

TAPACHULA, Chis. — A 5.1 magnitude quake occurred near Puerto Madero on Saturday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor jolted at 01:49 UTC (19:49 local time), with its epicenter approximately 99 km west-southwest of Puerto Madero and a depth of 10 km.
