A 5.1 magnitude quake occurred near Mid-Atlantic Ridge on Friday night, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor, which shook the area at 01:06 UTC (22:06 local time), was centered north of Mid-Atlantic Ridge. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
