BATTALGAZI, Malatya — A 5.4 magnitude quake occurred close to Sincik on Wednesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which hit the area at 06:00 UTC (09:00 local time), was centered roughly 19 km north-northwest of Sincik. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
