A 5.0 magnitude quake jolted near Yigo Village on Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The tremor rattled the region at 23:22 UTC (09:22 local time). It occurred at a depth of 156 km with the epicenter approximately 44 km north of Yigo Village. Seismologists first reported it as a 4.9 event, but later upgraded it to 5.0.

Residents in multiple cities — including MANGILAO, BARRIGADA and YIGO — reported feeling the quake, according to the USGS DYFI report.
