Update: Seismic activity on March 30 – 5.2 magnitude earthquake close to Mid-Atlantic Ridge reported

A 5.2 magnitude quake hit near Mid-Atlantic Ridge on Monday around midday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which struck the area at 14:43 UTC (11:43 local time), was centered north of Mid-Atlantic Ridge. It occurred at a depth of 10 km. The magnitude was originally reported as 5.3 but later downgraded to 5.2.
