Update: Seismic activity on April 2 – 5.0 magnitude earthquake near Bitung, Indonesia reported

A 5.0 magnitude quake shook close to Bitung on Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The USGS reported a tremor in the region at 18:46 UTC (03:46 local time). The epicenter was approximately 113 km east-southeast of Bitung, at a depth of 35 km.
