A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred near Southwest Indian Ridge on Sunday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor, which jolted the area at 06:08 UTC (10:08 local time), was centered of Southwest Indian Ridge. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
