BARÚ DISTRICT, CHIRIQUÍ — A 5.2 magnitude quake jolted near Burica on Thursday around midnight, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor struck at 05:21 UTC (00:21 local time), with its epicenter about 115 km south-southeast of Burica and a depth of 10 km.
