SAN MIGUEL CENTRO, San Miguel Department — A 5.3 magnitude quake shook near Chirilagua on Wednesday around midday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The tremor jolted the area at 18:56 UTC (12:56 local time). It occurred at a depth of 47 km with the epicenter roughly 73 km south-southwest of Chirilagua.
