Update: Feb. 4 – 5.1 magnitude earthquake detected near Tual, Indonesia

Wednesday morning, a 5.1 magnitude quake was reported close to Tual, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which hit the area at 00:36 UTC (09:36 local time), was centered roughly 150 km south-southwest of Tual. It occurred at a depth of 10 km. Seismologists first reported it as a 5.0 event, but later upgraded it to 5.1.
