A 5.1 magnitude quake was registered close to Lospalos Monday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor jolted at 21:59 UTC (06:59 local time), with its epicenter situated roughly 242 km east-northeast of Lospalos and a depth of 124 km. The magnitude was originally reported as 4.9 but later upgraded to 5.1.
