Update: Earthquake measuring 5.2 shakes area close to Barishal, Pakistan on Jan. 6

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.2 magnitude quake occurred close to Barishal Tuesday night.

It was reported that a tremor jolted the region at 19:17 UTC (23:47 local time). The epicenter was located roughly 102 km north of Barishal, at a depth of 10 km.
