Update: Sept. 25 – 5.1 magnitude earthquake recorded close to Emiliano Zapata, Mexico

EMILIANO ZAPATA, Mor. — the U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 5.1 magnitude quake occurred close to Emiliano Zapata Thursday morning.

At 10:21 UTC (03:21 local time), the region was shaken by a tremor. The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 km, with its epicenter approximately 169 km south-southwest of Emiliano Zapata.
