Update: Seismic activity on July 20 – 5.3 magnitude earthquake near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia recorded

A 5.3 magnitude quake was detected near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was reported that a tremor shook the region at 20:31 UTC (07:31 local time). The epicenter was located approximately 144 km east-southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, at a depth of 21 km.
