A 5.2 magnitude quake was registered near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which struck the area at 15:32 UTC (02:32 local time), was centered approximately 145 km east-southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
