Update: 5.1 magnitude earthquake detected near Pondaguitan, Philippines on Aug. 9

A 5.1 magnitude quake was reported near Pondaguitan Saturday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor shook at 11:33 UTC (19:33 local time), with its epicenter situated approximately 52 km east-southeast of Pondaguitan and a depth of 98 km.
