A 5.0 magnitude quake was reported close to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Saturday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The tremor struck at 09:40 UTC (20:40 local time), with its epicenter located roughly 139 km southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and a depth of 21 km.
