Sunday afternoon, a 5.0 magnitude quake was recorded near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was reported that a tremor shook the area at 07:53 UTC (18:53 local time). The epicenter was located roughly 145 km east of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, at a depth of 10 km.
