Update: 5.0 magnitude earthquake recorded close to Vilyuchinsk, Russia on July 30

Wednesday morning, a 5.0 magnitude quake was reported near Vilyuchinsk, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 20:02 UTC (07:02 local time), the region was shaken by a tremor. The earthquake jolted at a depth of 38 km, with its epicenter about 124 km southeast of Vilyuchinsk.
