Wednesday night, a 5.2 magnitude quake was recorded near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor struck at 10:09 UTC (21:09 local time), with its epicenter situated roughly 163 km southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and a depth of 10 km.
