July 30: Earthquake of 5.0 magnitude recorded near Vilyuchinsk, Russia

Wednesday afternoon, a 5.0 magnitude quake was registered close to Vilyuchinsk, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor rattled the area at 05:51 UTC (16:51 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter situated about 155 km south-southeast of Vilyuchinsk.
