Update: Seismic activity on July 30 – 5.4 magnitude earthquake close to Ozernovskiy, Russia detected

The U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 5.4 magnitude quake jolted near Ozernovskiy Wednesday afternoon.

The tremor hit the area at 05:19 UTC (16:19 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter located about 152 km east of Ozernovskiy.
