Update: Earthquake measuring 5.4 hits area close to Qarnābād, Iran on July 19

ALIABAD, Golestan Province—Saturday morning, a 5.4 magnitude quake was reported near Qarnābād, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor struck the region at 21:37 UTC (01:07 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter located approximately 31 km east of Qarnābād.
