FRESNO COUNTY, CA — According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a preliminary 3.0 magnitude quake shook near Toms Place at midday on Sunday.

The tremor rattled at 1:23 p.m., with its epicenter positioned about 11 miles west-southwest of Toms Place and a depth of 5 miles.
