ORANGE COUNTY, CA — at midday on Sunday, a preliminary 2.2 magnitude quake was reported near Yorba Linda, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was reported that a tremor struck the area at 1:19 p.m. The epicenter was situated roughly 3 miles east-southeast of Yorba Linda, at a depth of 6 miles.
