INYO COUNTY, CA — the U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 4.0 magnitude quake shook close to Olancha Sunday morning.

The tremor struck at 5:27 a.m., with its epicenter situated approximately 8 miles south-southwest of Olancha and a depth of just 0.27 miles.
