INYO COUNTY, CA — Sunday morning, a 4.0 magnitude quake was reported near Olancha, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor struck at 5:27 a.m., with its epicenter located about 8 miles south-southwest of Olancha and a depth of just 0.27 miles.
