Update: Seismic activity on July 13 – 3.9 magnitude earthquake close to Olancha, CA registered

INYO COUNTY, CA — According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a preliminary 3.9 magnitude quake shook close to Olancha Sunday morning.

The tremor rattled at 5:27 a.m., with its epicenter positioned roughly 7 miles south of Olancha and a depth of just 0.27 miles.
