Update: 5.5 magnitude earthquake shakes near Poso, Indonesia on July 24

POSO REGENCY, Central Sulawesi — According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.5 magnitude quake occurred close to Poso Thursday night.

The tremor struck the area at 13:06 UTC (21:06 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter located roughly 66 km south of Poso.
