A 5.3 magnitude quake occurred near Sarangani on Monday afternoon, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

At 06:21 UTC (14:21 local time), a tremor jolted the region at a depth of 56 km, with its epicenter roughly 64 km south-southwest of Sarangani.
