HILVAN, Şanlıurfa — A 5.3 magnitude quake occurred close to Hilvan on Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The USGS reported a tremor in the region at 07:40 UTC (10:40 local time). The epicenter was about 15 km south-southwest of Hilvan, at a depth of 10 km.
