The U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 5.2 magnitude quake jolted near Olonkinbyen around midday Sunday.

The tremor, which struck the area at 09:08 UTC (11:08 local time), was centered approximately 46 km northeast of Olonkinbyen. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
