A 5.1 magnitude quake hit close to central Mid-Atlantic Ridge on Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A tremor jolted the area at 06:29 UTC (03:29 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was of central Mid-Atlantic Ridge and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
