Update: Earthquake measuring 5.1 strikes area close to Palu, Indonesia on Feb. 28

TOLI-TOLI REGENCY, Central Sulawesi — A 5.1 magnitude quake occurred close to Palu on Saturday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A tremor hit the region at 06:52 UTC (14:52 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was roughly 245 km north-northeast of Palu and occurred at a depth of 68 km.
