A 5.1 magnitude quake jolted close to central Mid-Atlantic Ridge on Monday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor hit the region at 03:15 UTC (01:15 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter of central Mid-Atlantic Ridge.
