LIFOU, Loyalty Islands Province — A 5.1 magnitude quake jolted southeast of the Loyalty Islands on Monday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The tremor, which struck the region at 16:31 UTC (03:31 local time), was centered southeast of the Loyalty Islands of southeast of the Loyalty Islands. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
