Update: Earthquake strikes region near Labuan, Indonesia on July 7 – 5.3 magnitude registered

A 5.3 magnitude quake shook near Labuan on Tuesday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor jolted the area at 19:44 UTC (02:44 local time). It occurred at a depth of 33 km with the epicenter approximately 87 km west-southwest of Labuan.
